With the increasing of various electronic equipment, TV networks, switches, mobile communication equipment and office automation, the electronic systems in the electromagnetic environment is more and more complex and the electromagnetic interference (EMI) is more serious and becomes obvious obstacle for the system work. Electromagnetic interference (Electromagnetic Disturbance, the EMI) is defined as anything that might reduce performance for devices, equipment or system, or damage to the inanimate. Electromagnetic interference may be electromagnetic noise, useless signal or media changes.

There are two types of filters: RC (resistor - capacitor) filters and the LC (inductor - capacitor) filter. Due to the attenuation bandwidth of RC filter is very narrow, the performance to filter is very poor. Compared with conventional RC filter, the LC filter has a better performance with high-speed cutoff frequency, wide broadband attenuation and lower insertion loss.

SFI provides the LC filter in Array type, four lines, miniature size (2.0 * 1.25 * 0.75mm), with a good filtering. The noise attenuation band can be extended to high-frequency field, and with the ESD protection

Cut off Frequency:
The frequency which the output signal energy of the system (a significant rise in band pass filter) began to decline sharply. Under the frequency, the signal can’t be affected and passed by.

Leakage Current:
In normal working status, there is only a minute current flowing through the device body, generally only about a few μA. The so-called normal working status, it refers to the device at the normal operating voltage (Working Voltage). That is, the device is in the state of pre-breakdown, when the impedance value is extremely large as an insulator, there is only minor current passing.
Capacitance value:
