MLE series designed by SFI is made by zinc oxide in surface mount type. With the small size, leadless, and bidirectional features, it is specifically designed in IC protection and some sensitive of device. To protect circuit damaged by over voltage, it can be through limit surge voltage and the absorption energy reliably. They are usually applied for semiconductor protection and make sure electromagnetic compatible and suppress electrostatic discharge caused by of transient voltage. The smaller size is suitable for printed circuit board with high density. As result, SFI's MLE transient voltage suppressor is a safe, low-cost method of protection.
